Jenni Low Occupational Therapy is considered an "out of network" provider. Invoices may be given to families, upon request, for potential insurance reimbursement. Families are encouraged to contact their insurance company prior to starting services to ensure planned reimbursement.
Evaluation
Evaluations are up to 60 minutes and often conducted in your home, otherwise virtual evaluations can be available. Whether you are looking to pursue an occupational therapy or feeding therapy evaluation, the clinician will assess current skills either via standardized assessment, clinical feeding assessment, oral mechanism exam or other applicable developmental assessments. During the evaluation, a plan of care will be established with agreed upon goals, and suggested homework strategies. Family may opt in for a written evaluation report, if desired.
Treatment Sessions
Treatment sessions are up to 60 minutes, either in the home or virtual. The frequency of treatment sessions can be flexible pending on what is clinically recommended, how much support family is looking for and on current availabilities. Treatment sessions are aimed to model for the parent(s) on therapeutic strategies to address their child's therapy goals. Customized homework will be given to the family at the end of each session to ensure optimal therapeutic carry over at home.
